I’m Prabh, the photographer and videographer behind Improve Art Inc. I’ve been working with businesses since 2007. Most of what I do now is video. Brand films, product videos, interviews and founder stories, and ads that run on social and on a company’s own site. I photograph as well, and a lot of clients book both, but video is where the bulk of the work sits.
Most of the job is understanding what a brand is trying to say before anything is set up. A thirty second ad and a two minute founder interview are shot differently, cut differently, and finished differently, because they are doing different jobs. Knowing which one you actually need is most of the work.
The technical side runs deep. Filming in 4K to 6K, lighting for interviews and for product, recording clean audio on location, then editing, grading, and finishing in house. Motion graphics, titles, and green screen when a job calls for it. Music licensing is handled in the edit. Final files come sized for where they will run, from a widescreen cut for a website to vertical versions for social.
The same eye carries over to stills. Product, food, interiors, branding, and headshots, lit and finished the same way.
